Hyldetoftegaard A/S is looking for experienced, motivated and reliable seasonal workers from EU/EEA citizens to join our team for the berry harvest season 2026 in Denmark.
On our farm, we grow strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, red currants and gooseberries.
During the summer season, we employ approximately 120–180 workers from all over Europe. This provides a great opportunity, especially for young people, to meet and work together in an international environment.
Working Period
Late June to mid-October
It is important that you stay until the end of the season.
Job Description
- Picking strawberries, raspberries and black berries in greenhouses, tunnels, and outdoors (organic)
· We only accept applications from experienced fruit pickers
· In the mail, you must clearly state your experience,
including which country, you worked in and how long you worked there.
· Applications without this information or experience will not be considered.
· You must arrange and pay your own transport to Denmark
· Bringing your own car is an advantage
Working Hours & Conditions
- Work starts at 05:00 or 6:00 a.m.
- 6–7 working hours per day
- 6 working days per week (one changing day off)
- Physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
Wages
- Paid according to Danish minimum wage, ensuring your effort is compensated
- Registered with Danish tax authorities (SKAT)
- Salary paid to a Danish bank account with pay slip
Requirements
- EU citizenship (valid passport or ID required)
- Good physical condition
- Basic English skills required (ability to understand, speak, and read English)
- Farm/harvest experience is an advantage, not required
- Criminal record certificate from home country
- Must follow Danish safety and hygiene rules
Accommodation
- Available on or near the farm
- Reasonable rent (deducted from wages)
- Shared kitchen, bathroom, and laundry
